There was a hearsay doing the rounds final month which prompt that the Castlevania Netflix animation producer Adi Shankar was in talks with Nintendo for The Legend of Zelda animated sequence. It has now been revealed by IGN that the Netflix animation is for the Satan Could Cry sequence.
Shankar, in an unique interview with IGN’s Jacki Jing, additionally revealed that his Satan Could Cry sequence “will be a part of Castlevania in what we’re now calling the bootleg multiverse.”
Shankar attributes the Satan Could Cry sequence announcement to the success Castlevania, which he says, “actually over-performed. It did loopy properly. We instantly bought greenlit for Season three.” Thanking the followers who made this all doable, Shankar stated, “I wouldn’t have a job if it wasn’t for the followers.”
